Cookie Policy

How shipd uses cookies and how you can control optional analytics and marketing technologies.

Effective August 21, 2026

Overview

This Cookie Policy explains how shipd uses cookies and similar technologies on useshipd.com and related marketing properties, and how you can control them. It should be read with our Privacy Policy.

For privacy requests: privacy@useshipd.com.

What are cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, pixels, and software development kits that store or read identifiers. In this policy, “cookies” covers those technologies as well.

How we use cookies

We group cookies into these categories:

  • Necessary — required to operate the site securely (for example, load balancing, fraud prevention, remembering cookie preferences via shipd_cookie_consent). These do not require consent under ePrivacy/GDPR, though we still disclose them.
  • Analytics — Google Analytics (Google LLC) helps us understand how visitors use the marketing site so we can improve content and performance. Analytics cookies are stored only with your consent where required.
  • Marketing — Google advertising cookies (when you allow this category) support campaign measurement and relevant communications where permitted.

We load Google's tag on marketing pages and control it with Google consent mode. Until you grant a category, the tag runs in a restricted, cookieless mode and does not store analytics or advertising cookies; Google may still receive limited, cookieless pings (such as IP address and device information) used for aggregated modeling. After you consent, Google may use cookies for the categories you allowed. You can change this at any time. We may update vendors and will reflect material changes in this policy.

Manage your preferences

Use the on-site consent banner, or reopen preferences anytime:

You can also control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies may break parts of the site. Use the button above to update shipd’s stored consent choice.

Duration

Session cookies expire when you close your browser. Persistent cookies remain for a set period or until deleted. Your consent choice is stored in a first-party cookie (shipd_cookie_consent) on the .useshipd.com domain so it can be honored across shipd subdomains (for example marketing and the app). We may also associate that choice with your account when you sign in.

Updates

We may update this Cookie Policy when our practices change. The effective date above will be revised accordingly. Material changes to optional cookie use may prompt a new consent request where required by law.
