shipd bills the people who change flags. Each owner, admin, or editor uses one editor seat. Viewers are free on every plan, so someone can follow a rollout without adding to the invoice.
- Free is $0 and includes five editor seats.
- Pro is $15 per editor seat each month, or $144 per editor seat for the year.
- Teams is $30 per editor seat each month, or $288 per editor seat for the year.

The monthly and yearly controls above show the same four plans. Yearly billing is 20% off Pro and Teams and does not change the limits. Free stays $0 either way.
02 / Limits
What each number counts.
Projects, flags, environments, audiences, and evaluated entities are counted across the organization, not once per project. The caps describe what you have now. They do not reset at the end of the month.
- Projects
- A project is one flag workspace. Free includes 5. Pro and Teams include 10. Enterprise does not cap projects.
- Flags
- A flag is one feature definition. Free includes 100. Pro, Teams, and Enterprise do not cap flags.
- Environments
- An environment is a stage a project evaluates against, such as development, preview, or production. Free, Pro, and Teams include 5 environments in total. Enterprise does not cap them.
- Editor seats
- An editor seat is one member whose role is owner, admin, or editor. Viewers do not use a seat. Free includes 5 editor seats. Pro, Teams, and Enterprise do not cap seats. Pro and Teams charge for each one.
- Audiences
- An audience is a named group you can target, such as internal staff or a beta cohort. Free includes 50, Pro 100, and Teams 1,000. Enterprise does not cap audiences.
- Evaluated entities
- An evaluated entity is one identity stored for one environment: the external id the SDK sends when it identifies a subject. The same id in another environment counts again. Identifying an id that is already stored does not add another entity. Free includes 250, Pro 10,000, and Teams 25,000. Enterprise does not cap them.
Free and Pro
Stay on Free while a small team is defining flags. It includes 5 projects, 100 flags, 5 environments, 5 editor seats, 50 audiences, and 250 evaluated entities.
Move to Pro when you need more than 100 flags, more than five projects, or more than five people editing. Pro keeps five environments, raises projects to 10, audiences to 100, and evaluated entities to 10,000, and removes the caps on flags and editor seats.
Teams and Enterprise
Choose Teams when the Pro limits are enough but you need organization teams, required two-factor authentication, an audit log, and detailed analytics. Audiences rise to 1,000 and evaluated entities to 25,000. Projects, flags, environments, and editor seats match Pro.
Choose Enterprise for uncapped projects, environments, audiences, and evaluated entities, plus SSO, SCIM provisioning, approval policies, and audit export. Enterprise is not self-serve. Email hey@useshipd.com.
Questions
- Do viewers use an editor seat?
- No. Owner, admin, and editor roles each use one editor seat. A viewer can read flags and rollouts on every plan without adding to the seat count or the bill.
- Does yearly billing change the limits?
- No. Yearly Pro and yearly Teams include the same projects, flags, environments, audiences, editor seats, and evaluated entities as the monthly plans. The yearly price is 20% off twelve months of the monthly seat price: $144 instead of $180 for Pro, and $288 instead of $360 for Teams, charged once per seat.
- Do these limits reset every month?
- No. The numbers on each plan cap what the organization has now: projects, flags, environments, editor seats, audiences, and stored identities. They do not refill when the billing period turns. To create more, delete unused items or move to a plan with a higher cap.
- What counts as an evaluated entity?
- An evaluated entity is one identity stored for one environment. It is the external id the SDK sends when it identifies a subject, such as a user id. The same id in a second environment counts as a second entity. Identifying that id again updates the existing row and does not add another. Free includes 250, Pro 10,000, and Teams 25,000. Choose Teams when you also need organization teams, required two-factor authentication, an audit log, and detailed analytics. Teams raises audiences to 1,000 and evaluated entities to 25,000. Project and flag caps stay the same as Pro.
- What does Enterprise add?
